KITEBOARDS 06
NAISH IS COMMITTED TO A BETTER RIDE.  WAVE AFTER WAVE, WE'RE DRIVEN TO HAVE YOU AS STOKED IN THE WATER AS WE ARE.

Sol - 124, 127, 130, 133 & 136cm

Performance: The 2006 Naish Sol is a premium twin tip range developed for top level riders. The 2006 Sol combines a refined design concept similar to the 2005 Sol, but with a completely new construction technology for unparalleled performance. Although the performance demands were driven by professional team riders, intermediate level riders will equally benefit from these same riding attributes.

Design: The Sol range expanded to five models with less size difference between the boards so the rider can fine tune their choice to perfectly suit their style. A 10% lower scoop rocker line was added for reduced drag and locked-in tracking on edge. 1 cm width was added per length of board with a radial concave bottom shape for earlier planing, and increased pop and range.

Construction: New laminates and measurement systems were developed to precision tune the degree of flex at specific locations on the board. A composite I-Beam core has been integrated to reach new standards in strength and weight. Newly developed shock-reflex technology locks in edge for choppy water, super fast landings and ultra-positive performance. The Sol also features a Slider-Proof Protective Bottom and ABS Rails.

Components:
- 2 Adjustable carbon plate, 3-D moulded footpads
- 2 Restyled adjustable footstraps
- 4 Alloy-composite 5.7 cm fins
- 1 Grab handle
- Mounting hardware

thorn Kitewave - 5'2" & 5'5"

Performance: For big waves, small waves, freestyle or just light wind cruising, these boards are so much fun that everyone wants one. With the release of the 5'5" in 2005, Naish set the new standard for performance in a wave board. For 2006, a second, smaller sized wave board has been added to the range.

Design: The 5'5" was designed to generate and carry speed on the wave. Since its release it has proven its performance in both competition and waves around the world. The 5'2" is easier to handle in higher winds and faster board speeds. It will not generate as much power as the 5'5", but the narrower width, thinner rails, more parallel outline and round pin tail keep the 5'2" locked in for even more radical conditions.

Construction: Both KiteWave boards utilize the same exclusive construction with a core material specially developed to be ideal for the shape and performance requirements of these specific designs.

Components:
- 2 Adjustable carbon plate, 3-D molded footpads
- 2 Restyled adjustable footstraps
- 3 11cm wave fins
- Mounting hardware

Haze

Performance: The Haze is an affordable twin tip range developed for all levels of rider. The range includes five models, from 128 to 154, covering the performance needs of almost all sizes and styles of riders. The 2006 Haze offers more power and solid tracking with enough flex to still be easy to ride.

Design: The shaping of the Haze is completely redesigned for 2006 but still utilizes the same scoop rockerline and tapering thickness flow for a similar flex from the 2005 design. Fin placement is closer to the ends and rails for increased power and performance. The outline is more parallel for easier and more solid tracking when on edge. The overall lengths are shortened to balance the increased power with ideal control.

Construction: A Slider-Proof Protective Bottom has been added for uncompromising durability. High Visibility Graphics were added for safety and high impact.

Components:
- 2 Adjustable carbon plate, 3-D moulded footpads
- 2 Restyled adjustable footstraps
- 4 Alloy-composite 5.7 cm fins
- 1 Grab handle
- Mounting hardware

thorn Thorn - 128, 133, 139, 146 & 154cm

Performance: The new Thorn boards feature much more power, solid edging, controllable speed and greater pop for all the performance required for contemporary riding.

Design: A radial concave bottom was added making the Thorns ride higher, faster and livelier. Wide tips and aggressive fin positions make the boards powerful and reliable. The Rose and Grom boards are equipped with smaller-sized inserts, footstaps, deckpads and fins.

Construction: Further refinements were made in the already premium snow-board technology construction. The new design features increased flex for much greater control and liveliness. Double I-beams of composite stringers were added for greater strength to weight balance. The Thorns have the same Slider-Proof finish and ABS rails as before for ideal durability.

Components:
- 2 Multi-layer EVA 3-D Stick-back Deck pads
- 2 Adjustable footstraps
- 4 Alloy-composite Fins
- 1 Grab Handle
- Mounting Hardware

thorn Alien - 128, 133, 139, 146 & 154cm

Performance: The Alien 122 is today's "asymmetric-twin-style- Mutant" ideal for freestyle because jibing is not necessary. The Alien 138 is the 2006 evolution of the original, classic, smooth-riding Mutant concept. The Alien 146 is Robby Naish's model with the uncompromised power he demands for wave and freestyle riding.

Design: For 2006 the 138 and 146 Aliens have replaced last year’s ABS rails with new redesigned seamless rail shapes for smoother performance.

Construction: The gelcoat finish and graphics of the Alien have been re-engineered to offer greater durability while keeping the same light weight. All models are still constructed using only the finest uni and bi-axial fiberglass and wood laminates on a solid PVC Herex core.

Components:
- 2 Adjustable carbon plate, 3-D moulded footpads
- 2 Restyled adjustable footstraps
- 1 Grab handle
- Fins:
    122:     2 x 5.7 nose,     2 x 7.2 tail
    138:     2 x 5.7 nose,     2 x 5.5 mid,
( 2 x 9.0 tail )
    146:     2 x 4.5 nose,     2 x 5.5 mid,
( 2 x 11.0 tail )
